ABOUT THE TOUR
Day 1
Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where your private representative will assist you and transfer you to your hotel.
Relax in the evening and prepare for the incredible journey ahead.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2
Walk the Giza Plateau beneath the Sphinx and the Great Pyramid.
Morning: Visit the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the Valley Temple, the Sphinx, and a noble tomb.
Lunch: Panoramic meal at 9 Pyramids Lounge.
Afternoon: Explore the Grand Egyptian Museum, including Tutankhamun’s treasures.
Overnight in Cairo.
Optional: Enter the Great Pyramid, camel ride, or evening tour of El Muizz Street & Khan El Khalili.
Day 3
Morning flight from Cairo to Luxor (with airport assistance).
Explore Luxor’s West Bank: the Valley of the Kings (three major tombs), Hatshepsut Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon.
Lunch in Luxor between visits.
Overnight in Luxor.
Day 4
Start your day at Karnak and Luxor Temples, once connected by the Avenue of Sphinxes.
By midday, travel to Esna and board your Dahabiya, sailing peacefully toward Edfu.
Lunch and dinner on board.
Overnight near Edfu.
Day 5
Today, witness a rare solar eclipse from the banks of the Nile, just as the ancients once did.
Morning: Visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu.
Midday: Sail to a peaceful riverside spot to experience the eclipse.
Evening: Dinner and storytelling under the stars.
Overnight on the Dahabiya.
Day 6
Where Nile life and ancient history meet.
Morning: Visit Bisaw Island, meet local fishermen, and walk through banana and sugarcane fields.
Afternoon: Explore Gebel El-Silsila, the ancient sandstone quarry of the Pharaohs.
Evening: Barbecue dinner on the riverbank under the moonlight.
Overnight on the Dahabiya.
Day 7
As you sail further into Upper Egypt, the scenery transforms with southern charm.
Morning: Visit Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to Sobek and Horus, and explore the Crocodile Museum.
Afternoon: Sail toward Aswan with time to swim or kayak in peaceful waters.
Evening: Farewell dinner on board.
Overnight near Aswan.
Day 8
End your journey at Philae Temple, the sacred island sanctuary of Isis, relocated stone by stone to escape the rising Nile.
Morning: Disembark and visit Philae Temple.
Lunch
Evening: Transfer to Aswan Airport for your onward or international flight.
Optional Extension: Visit Abu Simbel, 3 hours south of Aswan, to explore the monumental temples of Ramses II and Nefertari before returning by road or optional flight.
