  • Espectáculos de música y danza folklórica
     Existen una variedad de espectáculos culturales que puedes disfrutar, incluyendo varios en El Cairo. Los más famosos y regularmente celebrados son las presentaciones en el Complejo Wekalet El Ghouri. Construido en el siglo XVI, este es un centro de artes arquitectónicamente impresionante en El Cairo. La actuación en Wekalet El Ghoury es la más auténtica. En otros lugares, incluyendo restaurantes y en cruceros, encontrarás actuaciones más turísticas y menos auténticas. Esto es lo que puedes esperar ver en El Ghoury: La danza Tanoura, que es similar a la más conocida de los Derviches Giradores. Esta versión incluye un grupo de intérpretes tocando una variedad de instrumentos que van desde el Daf (pandereta) hasta el Oud y el Ney (flauta).   • Birkash Camel Market
     Los paseos en camello son extremadamente populares hoy en día en todo Oriente Medio. Real Egypt ha llevado esta experiencia al siguiente nivel, visitando el mercado de camellos en El Cairo con nuestros huéspedes. Vea una de las mayores concentraciones de camellos del mundo, conocidos como «Los barcos del desierto». Esta experiencia puede convertirse en una excursión inolvidable, especialmente para los fotógrafos, ya que el mercado ofrece un vistazo a la vida rural egipcia, exclusivo de esta parte del país. El mercado se considera uno de los más grandes de su tipo en África, y personas de todo el mundo, tanto comerciantes como turistas, vienen a visitarlo.   • Paseo en carruaje tirado por caballos
     Un paseo en carruaje tirado por caballos alrededor de Luxor como parte de un recorrido por la ciudad es una manera fantástica de conocer Luxor. Es una de las mejores formas de experimentar la ciudad real (Luxor o Aswan). Los primeros tours europeos en Luxor y Aswan se realizaban en carruajes tirados por caballos, y ahora es una costumbre que los turistas tomen este paseo por placer. Tenemos varios tours y utilizamos caballos bien cuidados.

  • Paseo en burro
     Montar en burro es un medio de transporte común. Es una de las mejores maneras de experimentar la atmósfera del pueblo y apreciar la cultura suburbana. Es ideal para familias, especialmente si tienes niños, ya que será muy divertido. En una hora, el burro te lleva por los caminos de la orilla oeste de Luxor, donde los coches no pueden ir debido al espacio reducido, entre los campos verdes, los agricultores y las casas simples, para conocer la vida de un agricultor. Recomendamos hacer este tour temprano por la mañana o por la tarde para evitar el calor del sol del mediodía.

  • Paseo en bicicleta
     Andar en bicicleta no solo es una forma común para los viajeros con presupuesto limitado de moverse, sino también una manera diferente y divertida de disfrutar de Luxor, tanto en la orilla oeste como en la orilla este, y sus aldeas, atmósfera y cultura. Ve a tu propio ritmo. Se tarda entre 15 y 20 minutos en ir en bicicleta entre los sitios de la orilla oeste, ya que la mayoría de los caminos son planos y tienen carreteras asfaltadas, sin embargo, el verdadero desafío está en la larga carretera ascendente del Valle de los Reyes. Recomendamos disfrutar de este tour temprano por la mañana o al final de la tarde debido al calor en otras horas del día.

  • Felucca en el Nilo
     Una de las cosas más agradables para hacer en un día cálido es salir en una Felucca, el antiguo velero de Egipto. Descubre el Río Nilo mientras disfrutas de las hermosas luces de la ciudad en El Cairo, Luxor o Aswan a bordo de una felucca. Las feluccas han sido utilizadas durante milenios para navegar arriba y abajo del Nilo, pero también son ideales para un relajante paseo nocturno para escapar del bullicio de la ciudad en El Cairo, mientras que en Aswan es la mejor manera de explorar los mejores lugares del Río Nilo. Es especialmente popular entre los huéspedes que disfrutan de un ambiente más tranquilo y calmado en comparación con los barcos a motor. Egipcios y extranjeros por igual disfrutan de un relajante paseo en Felucca, ya que son perfectas para sentir la brisa en una cálida noche de verano, para navegar más rápido el resto del año y disfrutar de los paisajes a orillas del Nilo, las enormes rocas de Luxor o Aswan, y las tranquilas aguas del Nilo.   • Observación de aves en Aswan
     Haz un paseo panorámico en una felucca alrededor de la Primera Catarata de Aswan para ver muchas especies de aves locales y hermosa flora y fauna en un entorno encantador. Navega por el Nilo desde la orilla este hasta la orilla oeste del Nilo hacia la isla de Lord Kitchener. Desde allí, tu guía comenzará a señalar los lugares donde podrás ver la vida silvestre, que va desde garzas, tanto adultas como polluelos, hasta periquitos entre los árboles.   • There are a variety of cultural shows you can enjoy, including several in Cairo. The most famous and regularly held are the performances at the Wekalet El Ghouri Complex. Built in the 16th century, this is an architecturally stunning arts centre in Cairo. The performance at Wekalet El Ghoury is the most authentic. In other places including restaurants and on cruises you will find more touristic, less authentic performances.  This is what you can expect to see at El Ghoury: Tanoura dance performance is similar to the more commonly known Whirling Dervishes. This version incorporates a group of performers playing a variety of instruments ranging from the Daf (tambourine) to the Oud and Ney (flute). After a few solo acts by various singers, a vocalist appears on a balcony and sings of spirituality. This leads into the Tannoura, a spectacular dance based on showing the Sufi skills of whirling, with the dancers wearing striking costume designs. If you are not able to attend the unique performance at El Ghoury, our Travel Advisors can confirm if different performances will be available to add during your tour.

  • We call the deserts of Egypt “the million star hotel”. Clear sky away from city light interference will bring you the stars. Fayoum, Siwa Oasis,  White Desert or Black Desert, Saint Catherine,  Dahab, Ras Mohammad (near Sharm el Sheikh)

  • Siwa Oasis offers hot sand bath treatments that are known to be beneficial to various health conditions. These treatments are available only for a limited time during Summer, usually June to September. They are not suitable for some people who have medical conditions.
  • At all Red Sea destinations including Marsa Alam, Hurghada, Sharm el Sheikh, Dahab. Egypt has a wide range of reefs famous among the diving community, with many guests returning year after year to the beauty of the Red Sea. We can arrange your diving or snorkeling trips and training throughout Egypt.
  • At Sataya Dolphin House pods of dolphins are seen almost every day by visitors on a day tour by boat from Marsa Alam or Hurghada. Real Egypt does not support dolphinarium or captive dolphins. The experience of swimming with dolphins in the Red Sea is far more enjoyable for you and most importantly this can be done with minimal disturbance or impact on the dolphins. You don’t need to be a diver, lifejackets are supplied for swimmers who are not confident in the water and you have a guide in the water with you at all times. You may swim with a pod of 20 or more dolphins.  
  • Camel rides are extraordinarily popular today all across the Middle East. Real Egypt has now taken this experience to the next level and visited the camel market in Cairo with our guests. See one of the world’s largest gatherings of camels, known as the ‘Ships of the Desert. This can make an unforgettable day trip, especially for photographers, as the market provides a glimpse of Rural Egyptian life, which is exclusive to this part of the country. The market is considered one of the biggest of its kind in Africa, and people from all over the world, traders and tourists alike come to visit. Hundreds of camels are sold at the market almost every day, with the peak of the action taking place between 7 and 9 am on a Friday. However, for a calmer experience, most of the surrounding afternoons are rather subdued in comparison. There are two big camel markets in Egypt: one in Lower Egypt called Birqash, and one in Upper Egypt called El Daraw. The majority of the animals are brought up the 40 Days Road from Western Sudan, to just North of Abu Simbel in Nubia, Upper Egypt, by camel herders. From there, the camels are taken to Daraw camel market in Upper Egypt. Unsold camels are then taken in trucks for the 24-hour journey to Birqash camel market in Lower Egypt. In addition to those from Sudan, there are camels from various parts of Egypt (including Sinai, The West and The South) and sometimes from as far away as Somalia and Libya. They are traded for cash or other livestock, such as goats, sheep, and horses, as well as being sold for farm work or slaughter. Smaller camels go for as little as 15000 EGP, but bigger beasts can sell for 30000 EGP and up. ( 2017 prices due to the devaluation of The Egyptian Pound) Camel meat is a healthy source of meat and is free from any diseases or epidemics like other kinds of meat. Many stands in the market serve camel meat and liver.  
  • Luxor is often noted solely for its wondrous monuments, tombs, and temples, and Nile Cruises,  although these are truly amazing sights and attractions, often tourists don’t give enough time to recognize or meet the locals and enjoy their lifestyle. Real Egypt likes our guests to have the authentic Egyptian experience when they pass through Luxor and give them a true taste of culture. How do farmers’ houses differ from modern housing? The traditional farmer’s house has no base  (concrete) and is made from mud bricks. It usually looks over his field, where he works, and his life, along with his family’s, is simple, humble, and beautiful. A farmer's life revolves around the sun the same as ancient times. Farmers rise before sunrise to start their day watering the animals, work the fields, and sell their wares at the local souk. Cultural experience We believe it is important to appreciate the native Egyptian culture in Luxor, as well as across Egypt,  these farmers and their families are happy to share it with you. They welcome anyone, eager to share their lifestyle, they very rarely speak English but smiles and hand signs work very well. So that you have a chance to visit a farmer’s family and talk to them about their life choices, the guide will translate everything; and then by yourself, you will recognize their customs, culture, and lifestyle.  
  • A horse carriage ride around luxor  as part of a city tour is a fantastic way to get to know Luxor. It is one of the best ways to experience the real city (Luxor or Aswan). The earliest European tours in Luxor and Aswan were by horse carriages, now it is a custom for tourists to take it for pleasure. We have several tours and use a well cared for horse.  1st tour: 15 minutes, in Luxor. It is from Karnak temple till Luxor temple, passing through the city and the recently discovered road (the sphinx avenue). 2nd tour: 1 hour, in Luxor or Aswan. It is around the city, the Nile cornice, and the local market. Location: Luxor or Aswan.   Tour duration: depends on your choice.   • Riding a donkey is common transportation. It is one of the best ways to experience the village’s atmosphere and appreciate the suburban culture. It is great for families, if you have children this will be great fun. In one hour, the donkey takes you down roads of Luxor’s West Bank where cars can’t go, due to the small space, between the green fields, the farmers, and the simple houses, to find out about a farmer’s life. We recommend that you do this tour either early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat of the midday sun.
