Real Egypt is officially registered as a Travel Company in Egypt and was founded by Samir Abbass. Samir and his friendly, highly trained team can lead you throughout Egypt. We offer private tours and group tours with all the flexibility possible to adjust your tours for specific locations you want to visit, and we achieve all that by working together to make sure that we are always up to the level and above your expectations. Each guide has excellent knowledge of the places you will visit and is devoted to sharing their passion for this country.

Reducing single-use plastics by providing refillable bottles and installing filtered water stations onboard our dahabiyas.
Using biodegradable materials where possible (bags, drinking containers, etc.).
Operating eco-conscious dahabiyas designed to minimize emissions and reduce resource consumption.
Integrating sustainable transportation such as feluccas, bicycles, donkeys, camels, and trains where feasible.

A dispensary clinic in Bisaw Island and a women-led Makrameya initiative.

Key Achievements (Based on 2023–2025 Baseline & Current Progress)
1. Community Support
* Ongoing support to Bisaw Island community in Aswan, contributing to the setup of a local dispensary clinic and a women-led Makrameya initiative.
• Support to Asmaa’s women-led sewing initiative producing local handicrafts sold to guests.
• Preference for local suppliers in all destinations (Luxor, Aswan, Fayoum, Cairo), ensuring the local economy gets the benefit from the tours.
Bisaw Island and Elhegz :Training local people to be local tour guides-tour leaders (e.g.Asmaa, Abdel Rehim – Faraha – Abo Amir – Om Amir – Badry ). Taking breakfast at local’s houses, the fishing tour, etc…

2. Environmental Improvements
* Reduction of single-use plastics on all Real Egypt tours and Dahabiya Nile Sailing cruises:
– Guests receive Eco refillable water bottles
– Water refill stations on Dahabiyas
– Drivers and guides use eco-friendly bags and bottles
• Introduction of sustainable transport options (Dahabiya, felucca, bicycles (In future plan), trains where possible.
• All Dahabiyas are designed with lower environmental impact compared to standard Dahabiyas and Nile Cruises .
Environmental awareness: Bird Watching Tours ( Aswan – in Delta – Fayoum)

3. Cultural Heritage Support
* Promotion of Egypt’s World Heritage Sites through responsible itineraries
* Blog articles raising awareness about cultural protection (World Heritage Day, role of guides, women in travel, etc.)
• Partnerships with local artists such as Maha Gamil, supporting cultural expression and local talent(attach photos of DNS rooms )
Support Elphantine island by handling tour to Animalia and arranging traditional meals in local houses also in Cairo ( Lotus Farm in Saqara), local family in West Luxor, etc..
