Itinerary Details:
7 am, pick up from Cairo.
Travel to Tanis (San El Hagar). Lies in the Delta, north east of Cairo, about 1.5 hour drive, also known as Pr–Ramses in the book of Exodus.
The site is not fully excavated but shows ruins of big temples and royal tombs.
Visit Qanteer. The original location of Pr – Ramses before the ancient Egyptian translocated the entire city.
Picnic Lunch.
Visit Tel Basta.
Also known as Bubastis, named after the ancient Egyptian goddess Bastet (the cat goddess), believed to be the access to the land of Goshen.
Drive back to Cairo

Highlights of Egypt and Dahabiya Cruise in 8 days
Day 1
Visit Saqqara. Include the Step pyramid, Titi pyramid, the Nobles tombs.
Visit Dahshur. Include the bent pyramid and the Red pyramid.

Visit the Citadel. Including the Alabaster mosque of Mohamed Ali.
Walking tour in El Muizz St, of Medieval Cairo. The most preserved area with medieval Islamic architecture such as Mosques, Houses, markets, and other Medieval architecture. It’s a perfect place to experience the local culture of Egypt today.
