Sharm El Sheikh
A well-known tourist location in South Sinai. A year-round beach resort, Sharm El-Sheikh is a pleasant place to visit in both the summer and the winter.
Easily one of the most accessible and developed tourist resort communities in the Sinai Peninsula, the city is surrounded by mountains and the sea, as well as Bedouins and their traditional colourful tents.
Sharm El-Sheikh is famous for its crystal-clear waters, rare and lovely reefs, and an incredible variety of exotic fish darting in and out of the colourful coral, thus making this a snorkelling and scuba-diving paradise.
It is also a great destination for families who want to bring their little ones to Egypt for a beach holiday.
